The Meandering City

PTDC0044

This is an ink drawing that I returned to recently. Originally it was conceived at the same time I drew the dark cities and Kutna Hora, Czech Republic.  I was playing around with different aspects of cityscape configurations.  The meandering shape mimics the flow of a river.  Just had a thought.  Maybe bridges to connect the rows of houses.  Also note the kitty legs behind the arch in the black palace at the top. The music is from Bedrich Smetana’s Ma Vlast or Die Moldau in German.  I welcome any comments to further the City Series.
